It was exactly what I needed yesterday afternoon, once the day’s tasks were complete.

Sometimes life feels loud. Too loud. But the ocea

Sometimes life feels loud.
Too loud.

But the ocean never rushes.
The waves still arrive exactly when they’re meant to.

A reminder that healing, growth, clarity, peace…
they don’t always happen all at once.
They come in waves, too.

So if today feels heavy,
breathe.
Rest if you need to.
Begin again tomorrow.

The tide always returns. 🌊

An update: Yes, I am back in #Maine for a hot minu

An update: Yes, I am back in #Maine for a hot minute. Solo while The Captain continues to fly the friendly skies.

This morning, nature is singing and there’s a neighbor with an ongoing construction project. On the peninsula you can hear everything. Seriously. Everything 😅

This is a week filled with all the physical tasks of deep cleaning the estate house, attempting to freshen the flower beds, and overall have everything ready for the “high season” summer visits. I’m tired just thinking about it! And it’s still chilly outside in a *cold spring* state. I even had a fire going Saturday evening!

This weekend was also the final winter/spring Stones Point Supper Club International Dinner. I made sure to return in time so that I could enjoy the company of dear neighbors and friends. The theme was on point for my next adventure: Italy.

More on that little update later. Also later in the week, my firstborn turns 30 and I am trying to process this reminder of how quickly time passes. Don’t blink!
