Shannon began her adventures exploring her home state of Louisiana, expanding her journeys around the US. Soon she spread her wings and traveled to exotic destinations such as Malaysia, Bali, Thailand, and Qatar. With these adventures, Shannon returned sharing stories and vignettes of her experiences with global audiences.

Being diagnosed with a brain tumor and seeking out treatment seems as if this would be the natural storyline. This was only the beginning of that journey. Having a date circled on a calendar, knowing it could possibly be my last day of living, I thought my story was about the challenges brought about by a brain tumor diagnosis.
