This week I visited a Wes Anderson-worthy summer camp and a seaside inn where the fire pit is just steps from the waves. I’m dreaming up Journey to Becoming retreats—and carrying both joy and grief in my suitcase as I head back to Louisiana for a funeral, a wedding, and some grandbaby snuggles. 💛

Maine is trying to apologize for all those foggy, Maine is trying to apologize for all those foggy, misty weeks we’ve had. It’s nice to finally have an afternoon to enjoy outdoors, in the sunshine ☀️ , just watching the lobster 🦞 boats return to Cushing Harbor. Lots to be thankful for 🙏🏻. Happy hour is every hour in my world. Cheers! 🍸

After a stretch of Nor’easter gloom, this kind of golden light feels like a personal gift. The Beehive is open, the grass is green, and all is calm (even the guests). Grateful for quiet days, warm light, and a little space to breathe.
